Finally: It's CARNIVAAAAL in Germany! As a warm up, Boone & Franky head to Dortmund and then to Bielefeld Carnival, where they're taking over the road. Directly afterwards they'll be jammin' in Gütersloh, and one week later all of Soca Germany will be headin' to Berlin Carnival!

On Friday June 10th, 2011, the 9th Birthday of Soca Twins, they're celebrating at the "Carnival Jump Up". But this year they'll take the cake: Soca Twins present theRoadmarch, Groovy Monarch und Soca Monarch Winner:

Germany now is an Island !!

Some will know Boone Chatta as MC of the fabulous SOCA TWINS. He is Singer, Songwriter, Producer, Soundsystem MC, Audio Engineer and if you ever have seen a Soca Twins show you may know that he's an real Entertainer. Now he presents some fresh Soca Tunes straight from Berlin, Germany and is fully loaded for Carnival Season 2009. And he got the Vibe !! The Soca Twins, Franky Fire & Boone have played international shows and according to outstanding entertaining and mixing abilities they were the first Germans ever to be nominated for the International Soca Awards as "International Soca DJ Of The Year" in 2006, 2007 & 2008. Finally in 2008 they won the Award for the "Best Soca DJ Mix".

In 2009 Boone Chatta will release his long awaited debut album including collaborations with various caribbean artists. As a foretaste Boone just released three new Soca Tunes for the Trinidad Carnival 2009 with UK Soca producer Ashwin Seegobin.

Kannst du schon mehr über das Album erzählen ?
Ich bin noch in der Planung, aber mein Album wird definitiv Genre-Grenzen
überschreiten und etwas bieten, was aus Deutschland so noch nie kam.
Sind die Tunes im Mix alle fürs Album ?
Welche Tunes letztlich auf’s Album kommen, kann ich zu diesem Zeitpunkt
noch nicht sagen. Wenn ein Tune gut ankommt, wird er aber auch sicher
auf dem Album mit drauf sein.
Wer steht ganz oben auf deiner Wunschliste für die Collaborations ?
Ich hab schon Collabos mit Bunji Garlin und Jungle aus Trinidad fertig,
weiß aber nicht ob die auf’s Album mit raufkommen. Es müssen auch nicht
unbedingt Big Artists sein. Im Moment bin ich noch offen für alles und es
werden voraussichtlich auch ein paar Newcomer dabei sein.
Die drei neuen Soca Tunes für den Trinidad Carnival 2009 mit UK Soca Producer Ashwin Seegobin sind Pretty Gal, Roll Dat und Watah Me ?? Wie kam es zur Zusammenarbeit ?
Yep, genau. Die Zusammenarbeit entstand zufällig über MySpace.
Ash schickte mir ein paar Riddims, ich hab sie gevoiced, dann war er
mich in Berlin besuchen und ich zwei Wochen später in London
zum Mastern der Tunes.
Jetzt wo Germany eine Insel ist wirst du beim Trini Carnival performen ?

Naja, ich würde schon gerne, muss mich aber leider dieses Jahr noch
auf mein Studium konzentieren. Nächstes Jahr werd ich definitiv in
Trini sein und dann eventuell auch auf einer großen Bühne auftreten...
